Über die Veranstaltung
You first practice to write a character or your favourite word in Japanese/Chinese characters with a normal brush. Then you try to write it with a softer brush, in a more artistic way, with a dynamic brushwork.
Über den Gastgeber
Saiu Minagawa, Shihan-Master of calligraphy, was born in Tokyo and started to learn calligraphy at the age of nine. She has received awards at the Mainichi Shodo Exhibition, the largest calligraphy exhibition of its kind in Japan. Since she moved to Berlin in 2013, she has been teaching calligraphy and giving workshops for individuals, schools and companies, as well as creating calligraphy works for individual/business clients.
